About

My writing life began with a journal that I’ve kept since I was seventeen. I spent many years helping others to publish their work, and in 2009 my first personal essay was published.

But ten years would pass before I attempted to write fiction, when I cowrote Mystery at Creek Academy: Where Is Mrs. Quimby? with my daughter Nancy.

In April 2022 I decided to try my hand at adult fiction, and Debra Lee Won’t Break was the result. I’m now writing a companion book, with many more stories percolating.
