Book Launch Party Recap

Author Katherine Pickett

I had such a wonderful time celebrating the launch of Debra Lee Won’t Break! It seemed every face that appeared was a long lost friend, and I was so happy to get to reconnect with everyone.

The crowd included old friends and new, as well as several beloved clients, beta readers, neighbors, and longtime supporters.

My husband delivered a wonderful introduction to my reading, and the Q&A afterward was quite engaging.

The question that drew the most impassioned answer: What research did you do to prepare for this book? (Answer: Oh, so much! Read the short answer here.)

The question that evoked the loudest groans: How long did it take you to write it? (Answer: Three years)

The most practical question: Did you edit your own book? (Answer: No. Meet the publishing team.)

Thank you to all who came out to make this a very special night, and to my husband and children for supporting me through it all.

Special thanks to Eli Sola-Sole, owner of Kensington Row Bookshop and our host for this stellar event. Stop by KRB and grab your copy of Debra Lee Won’t Break!
